SFGrapher

Cocoa Application to Plot Membrane Diffraction Data

SFGrapher is an application written in Cocoa used to plot diffraction data. The user can input a set of structure factors (on the relative-absolute scale) along with the d-spacing and the resulting real-space density profile is plotted in real-time. The user can also adjust the structure factors and d-spacing using sliders to see how changes in the structure factors correspond to changes in the real-space density profile. The user can also plot multiple data sets simultaneously as well as x-ray and neutron data.

Program: SFGrapher.app

Use: The interface should be straight forward to use. The user mainly interacts with the program via the structure factor and x-ray sliders and text boxes. The "Show Systems" button also presents new options to add additional data sets and change how the data is plotted.

Notes: As the program is a Cocoa application, it only runs on Mac OS X. It has been tested on 10.3 and 10.4, though it may also run on older versions of the operating system. Also note that the program hasn't been extensively debugged -- strange behavior may be expected.
